The Power and Beauty of Calcite - green, red, orange, yellow, iceland spar, pink, optical and honey
Calcite increases and amplifies energy. It can also be helpful in astral travel and in channeling, as well as with increasing intuition. All calcites are helpful in lessening of fear and reducing stress. Calcite is a protecting, purifying, grounding and centering stone, and can help bring inner peace. It also increases creativity, imagination, and prosperity. Calcite is also a stone of spirituality, wisdom and reconciliation.
Calcite comes in a variety of colors and energies and to me is one of the great allrounders - hence why I have so many pieces in a variety of colours and I work with it so much during healings.
It is great for using to open and balance the various chakras. Physically, calcites can heal back pain, increase physical strength, heal teeth, and are generally good for healing. Green calcites helps overcome addictions, heal joints, bones, kidney, bladder, and the endocrine system, relieve pain. Green calcite also helps with manifestation, abundance, and intuition. Blue calcite is particularly good for channeling and increasing energy. Yellow calcite is also particularly good for Shamanic work, meditation, channeling, intuition, and amplifying energy. Orange calcite reduces chronic fatigue, and increases psychic abilities. Red calcite brings courage and inner strength and energy to handle survival situations, and benefits sensuality/sexuality. Honey calcite is also very good for increasing energy. Optical calcite (clear) is beneficial for headaches. Pink calcite (manganocalcite) is a stone of love and amplifies Reiki and other universal life force energies.

Iceland Spar (rhomboid shape) is a more uncommon/special/rare calcite. Some information on this gem is - calcite is water energy since it is formed in water and relates to the emotional body, it aids in dissolving old emotional patterns of fear, heartache, sadness and grief while ushering the essence of unconditional love, allowing a healing of the heart and freedom from emotional pain. This form of pink calcite blends the hues and qualities of Quartz and Pink Tourmaline. While Rose Quartz exemplifies the inner nature of self love and self nurturing and Pink tourmaline expresses the love outward into the world, Pink Calcite does both! The new way of loving has foundations in honoring and loving ourselves first so that the channels of the heart will open to share that feeling with one another, the earth, all of life and all of creation.
